Encouraged Together

February 1, 2026

Christians are designed by God to live in community, not as isolated believers. The Bible calls us to regularly gather together to stimulate one another toward love and good deeds through intentional encouragement. This involves showing specific appreciation for others, addressing problems when necessary, helping those who are struggling, and practicing patience with everyone. We must avoid selfishness and the desire for revenge, instead choosing to build others up. True encouragement comes from God, and when He fills us through Christ, we overflow with the ability to encourage others.

Bonded Together

God calls Christians to be bonded together in love, creating unity that contrasts with the world's division. Believers must put on godly characteristics like compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, patience, and forgiveness. Love serves as the perfect bond that makes all other virtues work together. When Christ's peace rules our hearts and God's Word guides our lives, we naturally experience harmony with fellow believers. This unity requires first being bonded to Jesus through faith, then actively choosing to love one another as a mark of authentic discipleship.

Loving Together

February 15, 2026

Love isn't just a feeling—it's God's direct command for how Christians should treat one another. Jesus made it clear that loving each other as He has loved us is how the world will recognize His disciples. This love must be demonstrated through actions, not just words, following God's definition in 1 Corinthians 13. Real love is patient, kind, not jealous or selfish, and doesn't keep score of wrongs. When Christians fail to love one another, we disobey God, damage our witness to the world, and weaken the church's effectiveness. Love serves as the perfect bond of unity that holds the Christian community together.
