Our Mission
People have lost their way because they have an inadequate understanding of who Jesus is and lack a proper relationship with Him. Each one of them needs a safe place to help them find their way back to Him. We will be such a place.
Our Purpose
The purpose of Harrison Street Baptist Church is to attract people to a safe environment where they can inquire, meet Jesus, and grow spiritually thus equipping them to live spiritually rewarding lives which will impact their family, their community, and their world.
We Believe
The Bible is God's Word.
It teaches us what to believe and how to live. We encourage people to use a recent translation of the Bible so they can more easily understand what it says. Every believer should spend time in Bible study and prayer everyday to strengthen their relationship with God.
Faith in Jesus is the only way to have a relationship with God.
Everyone needs to turn away from living the way they want and put Jesus in charge of their lives, living they way He wants them to. This involves following Him in the present, and results in a life eternal with Him in heaven.
Every believer should gather with other believers.
Every follower of Jesus needs to fellowship together on a regular basis with teaching, encouragement, and service.

Our church is a member of the Southern Baptist Convention and the Heartland Church Network.
